Beatification of John Paul II

This Sunday, the Feast of the Divine Mercy, sees the beatification of Pope John Paul II. This is a particularly appropriate day for his beatification: he described Divine Mercy as the message of the third millennium. Coalville at Chrism Mass

St Wilfrid's was well represented at the Chrism Mass yesterday. A number of our musicians sang in the Diocesan Choir, and our own Deacon John assisted Bishop Malcolm throughout the Mass. Your priest was very proud of his parish!

Blessing of the new building's at St Clare's School

Last Wednesday was a very special day in the life of our school. Bishop Malcolm cam to celebrate Mass and to bless the wonderful new buildings. He also blessed memorials to Teresa Bailiss, who was a big part of the school community for many years.
